When trying to read pseudopotential files, I am getting this error "Unable to read MAT-file Fe_DZP.nad. Not a binary MAT-file. Try load -ASCII to read as text."
For historical reasons, some PP files are called *.nad. They are in fact MAT-file and can be read as follows
*.nad
load Fe_DZP.nad -mat
